What are Data Explorers?

"Data Explorer" refers to any self service tool to display or make data easily accessible to users. The Department has developed multiple data explorers, some of which are listed on this page.

Elementary/Secondary Information System (ELSI)

The Elementary/Secondary Information System (ELSI) is an NCES web application that allows users to quickly view public and private school data and create custom tables and charts using data from the Common Core of Data (CCD) and Private School Survey (PSS).
